watched another show last night...Garden State

that's my life..train hard,then rent a show to slack at home to..

anyways..back to the show..
dont think this show was launched in Singapore..dont remember it being advertised..stars Natalie Portman and some guy whose name I dont remember..
this guy..has issues..seems totally normal..but feels no emotions..because his psychiatrist dad has put him on medication since he was 9..after he pushed his mom and caused her to become paralysed from waist down..then he gets sent off to boarding school at 16 and doesnt come back until 9 years later..and only because his mom passed away..
on this trip home..he decides not to bring his medication along to see what kind of effects it would have..this causes split second headaches..slight withdrawal symptoms..for which he goes to see a doc and meets natalie portman..doc convinces him that there's NOTHING wrong with him..and he never needed medication that was given to him...
so for the first time in over 10 years..he's feeling emotions..anger..pain..happiness..and the final barrier between him and his dad..is finally broken..because he's finally able to feel forgiveness..and love from his dad to him..

Man is created to feel..
good and bad..
the happiness that makes us feel like flying..
the pain that makes us want to curl up and disappear into the earth..
all these emotions are what keeps us real.
